Missing from your resume
Matched in your resume
How it works
- The job description is lowercased and split into single words and two-word phrases. Common English words (the, and, with, you and similar) are dropped.
- Each remaining term is counted. A two-word phrase is kept only when it appears at least twice in the posting. The number next to a term is how many times it appears in the job description.
- The 50 most frequent terms are compared with your resume. A term counts as matched only when the same word or two-word phrase appears there. Matching is exact: "manage" and "managed" are different terms, and so are "front-end" and "frontend".
- The score is the share of those terms found in your resume, from 0 to 100.
Some listed terms will be ordinary words, not skills. Skip those. For the rest, use the wording of the job description in your resume only where it describes work you have really done.
Please note
- A keyword match is not how every ATS scores. There are many applicant tracking systems and they work differently. This is simple text matching. It does not predict how any employer's software, or any recruiter, will rate your resume.
- AI-assisted. This tool was made with AI assistance. It was not written by a career coach, recruiter or lawyer.
- Not advice. The results are general information, not professional career, legal or employment advice.
- No guarantee. A higher score does not guarantee interviews, job offers or any other outcome.
- Stay accurate. Only add a keyword if it is true for you. Never claim experience, titles or skills you don't have.
